The foundation of good health is a strong and smoothly functioning digestive tract. When digestion becomes impaired, it soon leads to more systemic imbalances.

Researchers believe that approximately 90% of all disease begins in the digestive tract. Why? The digestive system is the first line of defense to disease. When digestive problems are allowed to continue without balancing the body from the root cause, a more advanced problem will begin to manifest in the body.

Come meet Gina and learn how to improve your Agni (digestive fire). This workshop will cover :

A brief history of Ayurveda

Ama, the toxic byproduct of poor digestion
Importance of 6 tastes (rasa)
Understand how yoga and breath work (pranayama) can be used to restore/encourage healthy digestion
Learn at-home 'kitchen-pharmacopia' to balance and enhance digestion
To all HYHA Yoga Students

Have you met Gina Caccavalla? She is an important teacher of Ayurveda in our Teacher Training, here at HYHA.
She now offers her Ayurveda practice to you all summer.
